Position Summary
Arc Services is seeking highly motivated Engineers with strong hands-on experience supporting construction, manufacturing, shipbuilding, industrial operations, or other technically demanding environments. Successful candidates enjoy practical problem-solving, working directly with skilled trades, and applying engineering principles to support field execution.
Engineers in these types of roles serve as a key technical resource, partnering with operations teams, planners, designers, quality personnel, inspectors, and project stakeholders to help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical requirements.
Potential assignments may involve supporting construction activities, troubleshooting technical issues, interpreting engineering documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to testing, commissioning, certification, and project delivery efforts.
Work schedules may vary based on project and operational requirements. Candidates should be willing to support a variety of schedules, including day, evening, weekend, or overnight shifts as needed. Certain assignments may be eligible for shift differential pay.

Potential Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to craft, manufacturing, and construction personnel.
  • Assess field conditions and develop safe, practical, and technically sound solutions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of emergent technical issues.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, planning, quality, and project management teams.
  • Participate in manufacturing, construction, inspection, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Contribute to process improvements and lessons learned initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of technical dispositions and corrective actions.
  • Assist with evaluating risks and recommending solutions to maintain project progress.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or advanced degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience supporting shipbuilding, marine construction, defense, manufacturing, industrial, power generation, or heavy construction environments.
  • U.S. Navy surface or submarine experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical and operational issues.
  • Experience reviewing or interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience preparing technical reports, dispositions, or engineering evaluations.
  • Familiarity with engineering, configuration management, or product lifecycle management software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.
