Nuclear Rigger

Job Title: Nuclear EPRI Rigger
Location: Seneca, SC
Hourly Rate: Competitive; Based on Experience
Per Diem: Provided for those outside of 50 mile radius
Travel Pay: Provided

Summary: We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator/Rigger to join our team. As a Rigger your role is to lift and move equipment/materials as needed for the job.
Responsibilities:
Inspect rigging equipment prior to use.
Install rigging hardware onto components.
Use power and hand tools including, but not limited to, small machine tools, grinders, drills, and hand tools required for metal fabrication.
Have basic knowledge of Rigging math so that u can determine if rigging slings are overloaded.
Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Signal/flagging of cranes both overhead and mobile
Qualifications:
3 years minimum of industrial Rigging experience, nuclear experience a plus
Basic rigging Certification IE; EPRI, NCCER, NCCCO, or equivalent
Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers.
Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team.
Must have reliable transportation, be able to travel extensively, and work variable hours.
TWIC card a plus.

- Perform sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, and working extended shifts
- Lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in varied body positions
- Work at heights and in confined or restricted spaces
- Work in outdoor and indoor environments under varying weather and site conditions
- Work on uneven, slippery, or rough terrain in active industrial or construction settings
- Wear required personal protective equipment, including fall protection and respiratory protection when required
- Maintain situational awareness and communicate effectively to work safely around moving equipment and hazards
