Job Title: 1st Class Pipe Fitter
Hourly Rate: Depending on project

Summary: We are looking for an experienced pipefitter to join our team. As a pipefitter your role is to install, modify, and repair piping systems as needed. One must have precise measuring and excellent mathematical skills, as well as respect for safety precautions.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret drawings/design change procedures to install piping systems
Must have extensive knowledge on fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, copper, copper-nickel, galvanized and stainless as well as using the appropriate valves and fittings.
Use power and hand tools including, but not limited to, small machine tools, grinders, drills, and hand tools required for metal fabrication.
Ability to prep piping for welding, know/perform different types of bevels, and post weld ISI prep.
Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
3 years minimum of industrial pipe fitting experience, nuclear experience a plus
Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers.
Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team.
Must have reliable transportation, be able to travel extensively, and work variable hours.
TWIC card a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 7 days/week
Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions, with possible exposure to radiation or chemicals
Ability to perform field work in all areas of the job site, including ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds at various heights
Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, or stoop around equipment safely
Ability to work in confined spaces, if needed
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead
