Summary: We are seeking a dependable and versatile Delivery and Shop Technician to support our operations through material transport and hands-on assistance in the shop. This role combines driving a company truck with a trailer and performing general shop duties such as equipment handling, basic maintenance, and inventory support. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute wherever needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a company truck and trailer to transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
  • Load and unload materials using forklifts or manual labor.
  • Perform shop duties including cleaning, organizing tools, inspecting equipment, and conducting minor repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools and follow instructions to assist with various tasks in the shop and on job sites.
  • Keep accurate transport logs and follow all DOT and company safety procedures.
  • Support warehouse organization and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet project timelines or support field crews.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Experience driving a truck with a trailer.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation (certification preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in a shop or outdoor environment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and adherence to safety practices.
  • Willingness to work overtime and adjust to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, or field service role.
  • Forklift certification.
  • 5 years of experience in a driving or delivery role with previous employer.
