Job Title: Welder/Pipefitter Helper 

Location: Various Job Site and Locations. 

Hourly Rate: Depending on Experience.

Summary: We are looking for a motivated individual that has interest in becoming a welder or pipefitter. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist skilled craftsperson(s) by performing supportive duties as directed and will work under immediate supervision.  

  • Stage equipment and set up work sites. Mobilize and demobilize all equipment 

  • Be able to use basic hand and power tools and lift up to 50 pounds. 

  • Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience and knowledge of general hand tools and various grinders 

  • Ability to work under direct supervision and follow directions 

  • Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers. 

  • Must have reliable transportation, be able to travel extensively, and work variable hours. 

  • Must have HS Diploma or GED 

  • TWIC card a plus. Nuclear experience preferred, but not required 

Physical Requirements 

  • Physical Requirements: Employees must be able to safely perform the essential functions of "the position" with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
     

  • Perform sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, and working extended shifts
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in varied body positions
  • Work at heights and in confined or restricted spaces
  • Work in outdoor and indoor environments under varying weather and site conditions
  • Work on uneven, slippery, or rough terrain in active industrial or construction settings
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including fall protection and respiratory protection when required
  • Maintain situational awareness and communicate effectively to work safely around moving equipment and hazards
