Job Title: Nuclear Scaffold Carpenter
Location: Wolf Creek Nuclear, Burlington, Kansas
Hourly Rate: Based on experience
Per Diem: $120
Travel: IRS reimbursable rate for mileage

Summary: We have openings for the Wolf Creek refuel outage in the fall of 2025. Start dates range from August through September. Wolf Creek’s outage starts 10/2/2025 and is scheduled for approximately 40 days or less.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Experience as journeyman scaffold builder in nuclear or power generation or petrochemical industry
Proof of formal qualifications as scaffold builder preferred
Experience and knowledge of tools of the trade
Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions.
Ability to pass background screening and drug/alcohol testing.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 6 days/week
Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions, with possible exposure to radiation or chemicals
Ability to perform field work in all areas of the job site, including ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds at various heights
Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, or stoop around equipment safely
Ability to work in confined spaces, if needed
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead
