Job Title: Time Keeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Time Keeper to monitor, record, and manage employee work hours. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate tracking of attendance, work schedules, and overtime to support smooth payroll processing and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, absences, and hours worked.
  • Monitor and track overtime, shift schedules, and breaks in compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly timekeeping reports.
  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate wage calculations.
  • Address any discrepancies related to timekeeping and resolve attendance issues.
  • Assist in workforce scheduling and ensure proper staffing coverage. 
  • Provide time entry and time sheets as needed


Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a time keeper or in a similar role (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of payroll and attendance systems (experience with Kronos, SAP] is a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other office software.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Microsoft office-understand pivot tables
  • Understanding union contracts- shift differential, substance, and travel.
