Job Title: E&I Superintendent/Coordinator 

Location: TVA – Kingston, TN 

Hourly Rate: Depending on experience  

Per Diem: $160/day

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and coordinate Electrical & Instrumentation activities on large-scale industrial construction projects, including power generation, heavy industrial, refinery, and energy infrastructure. 

  • Supervise crews, subcontractors, and field coordinators in high-risk, schedule-driven environments. 

  • Interface effectively with Project Managers, QA/QC, Safety, Commissioning, and client teams to support project execution. 

  • Ensure compliance with all site safety programs, including OSHA requirements, LOTO, confined space, and hot work protocols. 

  • Support commissioning readiness through coordination with vendors and commissioning teams. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5+ years of verifiable industrial construction experience. 

  • Minimum 5+ years of Electrical & Instrumentation experience. 

  • Experience on large-scale projects, preferably $1B+ EPC or multi-prime environments. 

  • Working knowledge of PLCs, DCS, control systems, and field instrumentation. 

  • Experience with tubing, calibration, and loop checks. 

  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification and grounding requirements. 

Physical Requirements: Employees must be able to safely perform the essential functions of "the position" with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
 

  • Perform sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, and working extended shifts
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in varied body positions
  • Work at heights and in confined or restricted spaces
  • Work in outdoor and indoor environments under varying weather and site conditions
  • Work on uneven, slippery, or rough terrain in active industrial or construction settings
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including fall protection and respiratory protection when required
  • Maintain situational awareness and communicate effectively to work safely around moving equipment and hazards
