Position Summary
ARC Energy Services is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Technology team in Rock Hill, SC. You will build and maintain the data platform and internal applications that run our business: the systems our recruiting, payroll, operations, and quality teams use every day to staff projects, track time and pay, and keep our field workforce qualified and compliant. This role reports to the head of Technology. The work is roughly half data engineering and half internal application development. The data work is the foundation: pipelines, data models, and integrations with systems such as QuickBooks, Salesforce, and our HR, recruiting, and payroll platforms, built on Databricks and PostgreSQL in Microsoft Azure. On top of that, you will build features in our internal web portal using TypeScript and React. Strong data engineering skills are required. Application development experience is a plus, and we will train you on it.
We are a small team that builds with AI coding assistants every day, and we expect you to review, test, and stand behind everything you ship. You will own systems that people across the company depend on, work directly with the people who use them, and see the results of your work quickly.

- Use AI coding assistants as part of daily development, and review, test, and verify their output before it ships.
