Summary: The Human Resources Representative (Mid-Level) supports day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws while fostering a positive workplace culture. This role will assist in areas such as employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR reporting. The ideal candidate brings prior HR experience and the ability to handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding activities, including orientation, system access, and exit interviews.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general employment questions.
  • Assist with employee relations matters by documenting issues, supporting investigations, and escalating as appropriate.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of data within HRIS systems.
  • Assist in benefits enrollment, changes, and communication of open enrollment processes.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics related to headcount, turnover, attendance, etc.
  • Support compliance with labor laws and internal policies, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Participate in HR projects such as policy updates, engagement initiatives, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in an HR support role.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles and employment laws.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site or field-based environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and digital onboarding tools.
